The Iowa Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics supports
positive changes in children's healthcare through community education, communication, and
legislative advocacy. The Chapter believes all children from infancy to young adulthood should
attain their full potential for physical, mental, emotional, and social health.

The members (dedicated pediatricians and children's health specialists) pledge their efforts and
expertise to one fundamental goal: that all children and youth have the opportunity to grow up
safe and strong, with faith in the future and in themselves.
