The Heartland Pediatrician
Articles and notices cover organizational, economic, political, legislative, social and other medical activities as they relate to the specialty of pediatrics. The content is structured to challenge, motivate and assist pediatricians in communicating with patients, colleagues, regulatory agencies and the public.
Submissions
The Heartland Pediatrician welcomes and encourages members and others interested in pediatrics and child health to submit articles for publication, or to suggest topics that the newsletter should cover. Deadlines are February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1. Electronic issues are distributed approximately six weeks after the deadline.
Articles should be submitted on disk or via email preferably in Microsoft Word

Advertising
The Heartland Pediatrician accepts advertising from companies and organizations promoting products and/or services that are related, effective in, or useful for the practice of medicine and more specifically the specialty of pediatrics.
The Heartland Pediatrician also accepts classified advertising to promote job openings and other opportunities. Discounted rates are offered to IA AAP members.
