The Council on Child Abuse and Neglect (CoCAN) is seeking a fellowship-trained Child Abuse Pediatrician who has been in practice 5 years or less to fill the one open role on the council executive committee. Special consideration will be given to members in Districts IV, V, or IX and are active in their chapter.
About the Nomination Process
- Nominees must be current members of the AAP Council or Section for which they seek a position. Nominating Committees of Councils and Sections with vacancies will review the list of nominees and make the final decision regarding candidates to list on the ballots.
- Elections for Councils and Sections will be held March 1-30, 2018.
- Nomination submissions are due by November 17, 2017. To submit a nomination, please connect with the corresponding resource for that entity.
